Business responsibility, climate protection at regional and international level and economic success are not a contradiction for Papp Logistics.
As well as avoiding and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, e.g. by purchasing green electricity in Germany, the company also focuses on targeted emissions compensation. Through the partnership with Aktion Zukunft+, a total of 645 tonnes of CO2eq. emissions from business trips in 2024 were compensated. Aktion Zukunft+ is a project run by the districts of Munich and Ebersberg in cooperation with Energieagentur Ebersberg-München GmbH and promotes both regional and global climate protection: in Germany, Papp Logistics supports forest conversion in Forstenrieder Park and humus cultivation, while internationally it supports the expansion of PV systems in India. In this way, Papp Logistics is not only working within its own organisation, but also outside the box to contribute to a future worth living and to counteract climate change.
Papp Logistics creates numerous jobs for the region.
On a warehouse area of 21,000 square metres, Papp Logistics is creating numerous crisisproof and future-proof jobs in Mönchengladbach, thereby establishing an innovative, sustainable location. This strengthens the regional economy and offers employees and customers secure prospects, many years of expertise in food logistics as well as a modern working environment. ‘We look forward to shaping the future together with you. As a modern employer and strong partner, we enable freshness, quality and innovation,’ says Maximilan Papp from the management team. The new location is also attractive for customers: The modern refrigerated warehouse enables the precise storage of temperature-sensitive goods in different zones. With the help of sustainable technologies, high efficiency and quality can be achieved in cold chain logistics. As an expert in the field of refrigerated logistics, Papp Logistics realises customer requirements individually and flexibly.
At Papp Logistics, corporate responsibility and climate protection have been part of our corporate culture for years. We endeavour to avoid or reduce emissions in our own operations. Where this is not yet possible, we offset emissions.
Through our partnership with Aktion Zukunft+, we have offset a total of 198 tons of CO2 from our business trips in 2023, while at the same time promoting regional and global climate protection. As part of our partnership with Aktion Zukunft+, we are supporting forest conversion in Forstenrieder Park and hummus cultivation. Globally, the expansion of PV systems in India is being promoted with a focus on renewable energies.
