Future Drive

Our understanding of ESG combines Environmental considerations, Social responsibility and responsible corporate Governance with a business model that is sustainable in the long term.

We address the key climate-related impacts of our business activities and focus our measures in particular on the areas with the highest emissions, which we have identified using a GHG inventory in accordance with the GHG Protocol: energy supply, vehicle fleet, transport organisation and procurement.

We report transparently on our targets, measures and progress in our Sustainability Report.

Energy supply

At our sites in Ottobrunn and Vigasio, we generate electricity using photovoltaic systems. In 2025, these systems covered 31.1% of our electricity demand in Ottobrunn and 4.7% in Vigasio.

We source the remaining electricity required at all our own warehouse sites – with the exception of our site in Carisio – via green electricity tariffs based on 100 % renewable energy.

Vehicle Fleet

We are gradually converting our lorry fleet to battery-electric vehicles and plan to expand the necessary charging infrastructure at selected sites by 2035.

Since August 2026, four of the eleven diesel lorries in our own fleet have been replaced by battery-electric eActros.

They are in operation at our site in Mönchengladbach, where they are charged using our own charging infrastructure with electricity from a green electricity tariff.

Employee mobility

We are converting our company car fleet to battery-electric vehicles by 2029.

By August 2026, approximately 70% of our company car fleet was battery-electric.

In addition, we offer bike leasing to our employees at all our German sites.

Tracking transport emissions

We calculate greenhouse gas emissions from our transport services with the support of ShipZero, in accordance with ISO 14083. In 2025, these emissions amounted to 78,979 tonnes of CO₂e, representing approximately 98% of our total recorded greenhouse gas emissions.

Aktion Zukunft+

We support the Aktion Zukunft+ initiative and acquired 259 certificates in 2025. With our donation, we have contributed to the implementation of the renaturation of a moorland area in Brucker Moos II   project. This local climate protection project, implemented by CO₂-regio, aims to save a total of 1,800 tonnes of CO₂e over a period of 30 years. In addition, our financial contribution supports climate protection projects in the Global South within the renewable energy funding priority, which will help reduce CO₂ emissions by a total of 259 tonnes. Aktion Zukunft+ is an initiative of the districts of Munich and Ebersberg in collaboration with the ‘Energieagentur Ebersberg-München GmbH’.

Ökoprofit

We are taking part in the Munich ÖKOPROFIT Club 2025–2026. As part of the programme, we are exploring measures to improve energy efficiency at our Ottobrunn site. One example of this is raising the tem-perature of the air conditioning systems in our server rooms. This measure is estimated to save us 3,548 kWh of electricity per year.

ÖKOPROFIT is a local authority cooperation project sponsored by the City of Munich.

*We explain the methodology, system boundaries and data coverage for all measures in our Sustainability Report.
